Are you feeling inspired to try a new and exciting outdoor sport? Have you never had the opportunity to learn how to ski or snowboard?
If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, then consider joining the WNMU Outdoor Program for our annual learn to ski or snowboard trip!
We will depart from campus around 9am on Saturday, February 1st and experience a very cool slot canyon as well a quick stop at White Sands National Park on the way to Cloudcroft. We will spend the night at the large lodging facility (Hostel) with all of the civilized amenities you may need in Cloudcroft, NM. On Sunday, February 2nd, we will go skiing and snowboarding until the afternoon when we will participate in some tubing! Finally, once we have had enough fun in the snow we will return to campus around 8pm. Please reach out to Will (William.Tracy@wnmu.edu) with any questions you may have about this trip!
*Please note, that if you are an experienced skier or rider, you may want to wait until the advanced ski trip later in February (Conditions Depending).
