The Outdoor Program invites you to a weekend backpacking adventure in the beautiful Gila National Forest. This is a great opportunity to explore the magical National Forest right here in our backyard! Have not been backpacking before? This is a great trip to learn! Expect a mild route with wonderful views. Join us on a lovely Gila National Forest backpacking trip!

Where: Gila National Forest

When: We will depart at noon on Friday, March 29th and return by 2pm on Sunday, March 31st.

How much does it cost? Cost is 30$ for students, 30$ for Faculty/Staff and 30$ for WILL members. To sign up, send Will an email at William.Tracy@wnmu.edu. There is a mandatory pre-trip meeting on Thursday March 28^th for this trip. This trip will be light to moderately physically challenging, a good introduction to backpacking in the Gila.
