INFO: Support the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) by joining a hike up to the Twin Sisters for CDT Trail Days! The Twin Sisters are a pair of twin volcanos bridged by a unique white ridge that is visible from almost anywhere in Silver City area. The CDT runs directly below the peaks with a spur trail to the interesting ridge connecting the summits. This hike involves just under 2000′ elevation gain with a round trip distance of around 10 miles (This hike can be challenging and requires some fitness). The North Peak is at an elevation of 8,431′. The CDT climbs steadily on its way up to the Twin Sisters. Excellent views from the summit and along the way!
