Start off the semester with an adventure! This is an amazing opportunity to raft down the Rio Grande in an inflatable kayak or full size raft. The Rio Grande Gorge is spectacular and is an amazing place to experience.

When: Friday, September 13 (Leave by noon) to Sunday, September, 15 (Return to campus by 3pm).

We will have a mandatory pre trip on Wednesday September 11th at 3pm.

Where: Rio Grande Gorge, Taos NM

Why: Fun! Learning! Adventure!

How: See registration info below (must be WNMU student/faculty/staff)

  • Camping equipment and food will be provided.
  • Students, staff/ faculty, and WILL members can all participate for a fee.
  • $75 for WNMU students, $100 for faculty/ staff, and $200 for WILL members.

To register:

  1. Fill in the Required “Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Form”;
  2. Fill in the Required “Medical Emergency and Health Intake form”;
  3. Follow this link to pay the fee and register.
